Step 1: Disassemble the electronic components
Usually, the first step in board recycling is to separate the electronic components from the board using a board dismantling machine. The bare circuit motherboard is then obtained, which is further processed to obtain copper powder and resin powder.
Step 2: The circuit board is crushed and broken
The circuit board shredder was the first machine to reduce the size of the circuit board. Its feed port needs to be large enough to handle tons of circuit boards simultaneously. During the shearing and crushing of the two rotors, the circuit board was broken into irregular pieces. For the first shredder, we chose a two-axis shredder. The particles after the circuit board is broken are about 60 mm x 60 mm. Next, the second crusher is the granulator, and the particles after granulation are 20 mm. The scraps are then collected in cages for further processing.
Step 3: Separate metal and non-metal powder
The shredded printed circuit boards will be separated by air separators and electrostatic separators. Our circuit board recycling machines use dry physical crushing, separation and dust removal methods that do not pollute the environment. High voltage electrostatic separation combined with air separation process can purify about 99% of the metal powder.
